Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

O Canada

Canada Day is a day that brings together families and communities to celebrate the land that we all call home. This year uTurn Project Inc. has hosted a Canada Day celebration at the Genesis center located in the NE of Calgary. Free BBQ was provided to the general public with almost 500 people in attendance. Dignitaries such as Minister Rebecca Schulz, representatives from MP Obrie’s and MP Kang’s office, MLA Mickey Amery, MLA Jeremy Nixon, MLA Ric McIvor, MLA Davinder Toor and MLA Irfan Sabir all came to celebrate with uTurn project and help cut the celebratory cake. There were numerous tents assembled that consisted of Shaw, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Peerless Training Institute and free Henna. There were talented performers from diverse age group, gender and background. That is what made the celebration a success because we had the chance to celebrate the unique traditions that enrich our community while proudly embracing our Canadian values that unite us.

Multiculturalism Day

Blessed with the most discerning gustatory sense, Agumbe, our CTO, personally ensures that every dish that we serve meets his exacting tastes. Our chefs dread the tongue lashing that ensues if their dish does not meet his exacting standards. He lives by his motto, You click only if you survive my lick.
