LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Friend:
Once I read that the very prolific and witty English Philosopher, essayist and renowned defender of orthodox Christianity G.K. Chesterton once observed,” The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, new backbone, new ears and new eyes- unless a man start afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective, At the uTurn Project we embrace this all-encompassing attitude about regularly evaluating and advancing the work to which we have been called for.
As we develop a corporate strategy to succeed turning Hope into Action, we have a valuable opportunity to reflect not only on what we have been able to achieve, but also on the new opportunities and challenges that are before us. Our understanding of our motto “Building Community and focus on the underprivileged” has been developing overtime.
The powerful impact of your support and contributions towards helping and strengthening our community whether local or global is contained within these pages of our newsletter.
uTurn is always increasingly realizing its vision of supporting and developing communities and implementing sustainable solutions, and promising better futures for children and families whether it is an educational project in Canada or a water and sanitation project in India.
We thank you for your support, and look forward to continued partnerships in the years to come.
We hope you’ll join with us in furthering this exciting work of bringing hope to many who have known only hopelessness. Together we can do it.
Sincerely yours,
Jay Chowdhury
